Rapper Azealia Banks defends herself after racist Twitter spat with Zayn Malik
The rapper has responded once again
Controversial rapper Azealia Banks caused outrage across the world after she posted a series of vile, racist and homophobic tweets aimed at singer Zayn Malik.

Now, the American has returned to Twitter to defend her actions saying she was ‘angry’.
In a post which she captioned ‘Thoughts on everything’ the 24-year-old said “I said what I said to Zayn because I was angry. He felt as if he was too good to acknowledge me yet not good to copy me creatively’.

She then continued writing ‘I had to remind him that we’re both in the same boat in this industry and people of colour by reminding him that no matter what you may think of yourself the world still sees you as “other”. As they see me.”
Despite the tweets it didn’t take long for the outspoken star to have her say on the matter once again. In a series of tweets, she claimed she was ‘resisting the urge’ to say more terrible things and then wrote ‘But obviously I’m insanely f*g talented and have already lowered myself to the levels of ppl who don’t even deserve to share the same (sic).
The Twitter storm all kicked off when Azealia laid into the former One Direction man for after believing he had copied her music video. After Zayn wrote a tweet, the rapper took offence and began her disgusting rant.
Azealea responded saying “Trying to make myself know but I’m still known as the token sand n***a from 1D.”
"Keep sucking this young rapunxel dk you hairy curry scented b*h. Imma start calling you dirty b*h. You a dk rider for real. Ride this d**k until the wheels fall off Punjab”. (sic)
Despite Zayn telling her his tweet wasn’t actually aimed at her, she continued her vile rant saying “Do you understand that you are a sand n****r who emulated white boys’ renditions of black male hood?”
Despite her response, it seems the rapper is yet to apologise for her behaviour.
