Professor Green was caught up in a scary incident while filming after seeing a man wielding a knife on set.

The rapper who recently split from his wife, Millie Mackintosh, was filming in Cheltenham when he endured the scary ordeal.

The ‘Lullaby’ singer shared the event via his Twitter page describing it as a ‘interesting day’.

The 32-year-old went on to explain it ‘could have been a bottle opener’ as the man in question was carrying a bottle of wine at the time.

This isn't the first time the rapper has been involved in an incident like this. In 2010, Pro Green, real name Stephen Manderson, was brutally attacked with a broken bottle in a nightclub in Shoreditch, London.

The rapper’s attacker, Anthony Jones, is currently serving eight years in prison for the assault.

In his autobiography, ‘Lucky’, Pro Green opens up about the attack describing it as ‘horrific’ and goes on to recall the ordeal.

The book reads, “The man who had been arguing with me came at me from behind. I heard a noise, someone saying, ‘He’s got something in his hand’. I turned around to see a flash of his hand rising fast towards my face. I lifted my arm, attempting to deflect him, but he stabbed me with a jagged half-bottle.

Describing his horrific injuries, the 32-year-old said “It pierced the left side of my neck, straight through the ‘Lucky’ tattoo.

The rapper has since recovered from the injuries, but the awful incident understandably still gives him nightmares.
