The former X Factor star Olly Murs recently joined 'rival' show The Voice and he has now addressed rumours he is no longer speaking to Simon Cowell.
Olly, who first found fame during the 2009 series of The X Factor, shocked fans when he decided to become a coach on the new series of The Voice which started recently. After rumours emerged that he and Simon Cowell were no longer speaking, Olly decided to put the record straight on Good Morning Britain today (8th March).
Speaking to the programme's hosts Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard, he explained, "That's all paper talk. I mean, I haven't heard from Simon, I haven't spoken to him but listen, I'm sure we're great. I hope so anyway..."

Then, when asked about being a 'traitor' for moving to The Voice he said that he thought people misinterpreted it. He explained how he wasn't part of The X Factor when he left the show.
"I went and had my own music career and Simon was never involved in that, really," he said, "He was involved at the start of it but yeah...
"Listen, The X Factor is The X Factor. It's been a massive part of my life and I still love it. And I won't stop watching it, but The Voice pay my wages now."
After being noticed on The X Factor Olly had huge success with hits such as 'Please Don't Let Me Go', 'Heart Skips a Beat' and 'Troublemaker'. Since then he has now released five albums in the UK, four of which reached the top spot, and he has had over 20 singles!
Olly's most recent release was last year, when he teamed up with the 2015 winner of The X Factor, Louisa Johnson.
