He was a fan favourite on the 2018 series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, with many viewers shocked he didn't make the final three. But now, Nick Knowles has hit out at the 'unsupportive' crew in a recent interview with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
Speaking on This Morning yesterday (Wednesday 16th January), Nick seemed to disagree with stand-in host Holly when she revealed the camp mates are well-supported on the popular show.
Interrupting her, Nick said, "Not really! They try to get under your skin. They make you tired, hungry and dehydrated. We almost had trench foot. The bedding was wet all the time."
The DIY SOS star then went on to admit the crew deliberately try to make it harder for the camp mates, adding, "Every time it gets more difficult, you come back and find they've left the canopy open and all your bedding is soaking wet, and you say, 'Can you change our sleeping bags?' and they say, 'No you have to sleep in wet beds'."
Jumping in, Holly's co-host Phillip added, "Of course they do – that's the show! You've got to expect that when you go in!"
Watch his interview below:
This wasn't the only revelation Nick made during his interview. The 56-year-old admitted that producers forced him to play the guitar!
He said, "I was like great, because James had been desperate to play the guitar because he's the most amazing guitar then the jungle tannoy comes over 'give Nick the guitar to play a song'. I was like 'No you're alright, James is playing', then they said 'Nick you need to play'."
😱😱😱
Despite viewers falling in love with Nick's kind-hearted spirit on the show, the TV presenter was the sixth celebrity to be voted out. Former footballer manager Harry Redknapp went on to win the 2018 series, with comedy actress Emily Atack and performer John Barrowman also making it to the final three.
Check out Harry Redknapp's best one-liners on the show:

When Noel had to hold a yabby in his mouth
During the Fall of Emperor Noel Bushtucker trial, Harry and Noel had to take it in turns to hold creatures in their mouths - and when Noel held a yabby in his mouth, Harry couldn't control himself, and yelled, "YABBA DABBA DOOOO."
His hilarious joke about being a football manager
Oh Harry, you joker!
When he rapped with Fleur East and Malique Thompson-Dwyer
After a brief discussion about grinding, Harry, Fleur and Malique made up a rap after asking which car Harry drives - and the results were BRILLIANT.
When he was SUPER blunt about Malique's departure
Obviously, he wasn't being mean about Malique - he just meant that they'd most likely be seeing each other in a matter of days!
When he spoke about the time he ran Sandra over
Harry unfortunately wasn't being super observant two years ago, and told his campmates, "I used to think I was a good driver but I had a nightmare and ran over my wife one day. She got out the car and I thought she'd crossed the road and I pulled forward and she fell into the road and a bus stopped literally yards away and the most amazing part of the story probably, my grand-daughter is sitting on top of the bus and sees all of this. Unreal."
When the campmates got split into teams
His competitive nature came out when they got split into teams, and he became one of the Roos.
When he had some words of comfort for Fleur East
Before Fleur took on the Gore Seasons Pizza Bushtucker trial, Harry had his very own unique way of comforting her.
When he had some thoughts about Fleur's music
In the Jungle Arms, the campmates took part in a little karaoke, when Fleur's song 'Sax' came on and they all tried to learn her dance routine. Harry wasn't convinced.
