EastEnders' Melissa Suffield reveals she's pregnant with her first baby

Ex-EastEnders star Melissa Suffield has announced that she's pregnant with her first baby! The former Lucy Beale actress, who played the role on EastEnders from 2004-2010, has revealed that she's expecting her first child with her fiancé Robert Brendan, three months after the couple announced their engagement.
The 26-year-old, whose role was taken over by fellow actress Hetti Bywater, has revealed that she can't wait to become a mum with Robert, who she's been in a relationship with since 2017.
Although she's not made any announcements on her Instagram about when her baby is due or whether it's a boy or a girl, it's thought that the baby could be due early next year.
Announcing the engagement in July on Instagram, Melissa shared two photos in one post of the couple sunning themselves on the beach in Kent looking happily at the camera, as well as a black-and-white picture of her engagement ring. She simply wrote as a caption, '❤️💍👫👰🏼 #ISaidYaass.'
Fans were over the moon for the former soap star, with one fan writing, 'Congrats Mel, such nice news ❤️.' Another added, 'Huge congratulations to you both, enjoy your planning, wonderful couple,' and one other wrote, 'Ahh congratulations Melissa ❤️.'
