Alex James caught up with Martin Solveig in Ibiza for In:Demand

When Alex asked Martin about the legendary headband he wears in the DJ booth, the Frenchman explained, "It's really useful when I DJ because I shake my head a lot and honestly it's a problem for me to see. So the headband is not only for the style but it's also the possibility for me to head-bang 100% without getting annoyed!"

Alex also asked Martin if he thinks Las Vegas is becoming the new capital of dance music, "I relate so much more to Vegas because it’s so much more in line with what happens everywhere in the world. And that’s why, for me, Vegas is today already the real capital of dance music in the world now.

“So it’s great, it’s new, it’s something we’ve been waiting for forever. Vegas has all the power and infrastructure that is taking this industry to a very different level and it is shocking. I didn’t know I was going to live this era for dance music, so it’s great.”
