TOWIE's Lydia Bright discovers her unborn baby's gender at baby shower
She threw a gender reveal party!
The Only Way Is Essex star Lydia Bright announced she was pregnant with her first child last month, following a split from her boyfriend Lee Cronin. Although the pair parted ways, Lydia was over the moon to be expecting her first baby.
She told Hello! magazine, "I've done so much travelling, I've done all my partying holidays, I'm where I want to be in terms of my life, financially and career-wise. It just feels like the right time for it all to happen for me."
And now, Lydia has discovered her baby's gender, after throwing a gender reveal party with all her friends and family in attendance.
Sharing the news with Hello! magazine, Lydia discovered that she's having a little girl! She told the publication that although she "wasn't bothered either way," having a girl made it "that little bit more special."
"She’ll be my best friend," she added. "Me and Mum are really close and I love our relationship – I’m hoping that me and my daughter have something just as special, just as strong," before gushing over the fact that she'll decorate the nursery for a "proper princess."
"I don’t care if it’s tacky. My kid is definitely not going to be gender neutral. I’m having tutus, flowery dresses. I want my girl to be very, very girly."
The 29-year-old also opened up about her cravings, "I am such a healthy eater – but all I wanted was pasta, bread, things like that. Stodge. Constantly! And I now can’t eat chicken, eggs or milk – I can’t drink water because it makes me feel sick. I can only drink fizzy drinks. It’s so weird."
