In the words of Love Island 2017 star Olivia Attwood, this year's couples are 'dropping like flies', with yet ANOTHER pair announcing their split. Since the islanders left the villa two months ago, Laura Anderson and Paul Knops, Laura Crane and Jack Fowler, and Samira Mighty and Frankie Foster have all split, and now its the turn of Ellie Brown and Charlie Brake.

Just days after Ellie moved out of millionaire Charlie's London mansion, the Chelsea boy has now confirmed their romance is OVER, sharing the news on Instagram Stories. He wrote, 'Just to inform you all, Ellie and I have decided to part ways. I wish her all the best!'.

Aww 💔

Ellie has so far remained silent on the matter, but just days ago she did share a loved-up looking photo of the pair together.

After returning home from a holiday in Switzerland, Ellie shared a throwback photo of herself and Charlie inside the Love Island villa. Alongside the snap, the South Shields-born girl wrote, 'I ❤️ getting sent things like this! 💕 #memories'. sic

See which Love Island couples have stayed together after the show:

Series One: Cally Jane Beech and Luis Morrison

The only surviving couple from Love Island series one is Cally Jane Beech and Luis Morrison.

After finding love on the show, Cally and Luis announced they were expecting their first child together and later welcomed their daughter Vienna Morrison-Beech.

Taking to social media, Ellie shared a photo from the back of a taxi to her Instagram Story, writing, 'On my way to pick up keys to my first ever apartment. @gofancy.co.uk thank you for helping me with my 25 boxes of clothes and shoes.'

Now that Ellie and Charlie have split, the only couples left from this year's series are, winners Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham, Megan Barton-Hanson and Wes Nelson, Kaz Crossley and Josh Denzel, and Georgia Steel and Sam Bird.
