It's been over a year now since former Eternal singer Louise Redknapp and football legend Jamie Redknapp finalised their divorce but now there's speculation that the pair could reunite as they've reportedly grown closer in recent months.

The 45 year old is apparently 'bowled over' by his ex-wife's recent 'transformation' and according to Woman magazine the pair, who are parents to Charles, 14, and Beau, 10, have been 'spending large amounts of time together'.

Following their divorce, Louise starred in the West End show Dolly Parton's 9 to 5 The Musical alongside Love Island's Amber Davies and the Eternal singer is making a music comeback after signing a record deal with Warner music.

A friend of Jamie's told the publication, "There is a spark there now which he hasn't seen since the very early days - way back when she was in Eternal.

"Frankly, Jamie fancies the pants off her again. Maybe it's the forbidden fruit thing, but he's enjoying flirting with a beautiful brunette. It cheers them both up."

Jamie and Louise left the nation devastated in September 2017 when they confirmed they had split after months of speculation. The news came months after she starred on Strictly Come Dancing and following their breakup, celebrities reportedly declined going on the BBC show because of the Strictly curse.

It was only last month that Louise spoke out about her relationship with her ex-husband of 19 years and admitted they're still best friends despite their 'tough divorce', explaining, "It’s been really tough, but, you know, he’s my best friend. It’s been really tough, but things happen. I saw him yesterday and it was all good."
