As pop stars go, Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall is very recognisable now, however she looks totally unrecognisable in a throwback photo she recently shared to celebrate her idol, Diana Ross', birthday. Jade told her fans on Instagram, 'In honour of my idol Diana Ross’ recent birthday ♥️ I legit thought my Mam was @dianaross growing up and I wanted to be just like her. May ya glow ups be as real as this one. ✨'. sic

The photo shows a young Jade Thirlwall with long wavy hair, wearing a beautiful purple, sequined dress, next to a more recent photo of the Little Mix singer dressed as the iconic pop star in a sequined, red fishtail dress. Jade dressed as the 'Baby Love' singer for her ‘idol’ costume birthday party in December last year.

Her post was liked by thousands of her fans, including pop star Ariana Grande, and several comments from celebrities, including Bianca Del Rio, who won season 6 of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Many of Jade's fans also commented on her photo with one saying, 'YOU LOOK SO GOOD, THEN AND NOW', and another saying, 'Then: A kween and a goddess. Now: A kween and a goodness . Can you see the difference cause I can't 🔥'. sic
