Pop star Lady Gaga has apparently confirmed that she is now engaged to talent agent, Christian Carino. The 'Poker Face' singer revealed the news during a speech at Elle's 25th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration earlier this week.

As she gave an emotional speech, wiping away a tear, Lady Gaga said, "Everybody on table five, my fiancé Christian, all the loved ones in my life who take care of me every day..."

Christian Carino, who is a talent agent, has been in a low-key relationship with the mega pop star since at least last year. The couple were first spotted together in January 2017. And although Lady Gaga has been spotted with a large engagement ring for several months, this is the first time that she has confirmed their relationship status.

Andrew Brown, President of WP Diamonds, told E! about the pink diamond ring saying, "Lady Gaga's spectacular ring appears to be a 6-7 carat pink sapphire with a diamond halo totaling 3-4 carats. This is likely a high quality, no heat (treatment), pink sapphire."

He went on to say, "It looks like it may be a Padparadscha sapphire, in which case this ring would easily retail between $300,000 and $400,000."

The 'Born This Way' singer was previously engaged to Taylor Kinney. The actor proposed to the Lady Gaga after four years together on Valentine's Day 2015, however, the following year the singer revealed they were taking a break, announcing the news on Instagram.

Lady Gaga, who stars in the recently released film, A Star Is Born, alongside Bradley Cooper, has received a huge amount of praise for her performance in Bradley's directorial debut. At the Elle event where she gave her speech, she was honoured for receiving amazing reviews for her role.

Whilst A Star Is Born is receiving rave reviews around the world, it was at a press conference at Venice Film Festival, where a number of fans noticed something funny about the name plate the singer was given.

She had a name plate in front of her, which said, 'L. Gaga'. The rest of the panel also had them, but whilst Bradley Cooper had one saying B. Cooper, of course Lady Gaga isn't her real name! The singer's real name is in fact Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta.

In other Lady Gaga news she revealed to Ellen DeGeneres that she actually wants to be called Lady! She explained in an interview that she likes to be called 'Lady' as her long time collaborator Tony Bennett calls her that.

Ellen then joked, "What if I called you, I don't want to be like everyone else, what if I call you Miss Lady." After a short pause Lady replied, "Done".
