Katie Price says her children's fame is 'out of my control'
The reality star puts the record straight
Katie Price's children have lived out most of their lives on TV but now she has admitted there was a time she didn't want them in the spotlight.
The mum-of-five is famed for her popular reality shows which involve cameras following her every move to document her showbiz lifestyle.
During her four-year marriage with ex-husband Peter Andre the pair took part in shows including Katie and Peter: The Next Chapter and Katie and Peter Stateside.
Later, when the pair ended their marriage, Katie had her own shows and her eldest children, Harvey, Junior and Princess made an appearance on all of them.
Despite this the Loose Women panelist has now admitted there was a time she didn't want her children to be in the spotlight.
At a press conference for her new TLC show, Katie Price's Pony Club, the 37-year-old said "Year's ago, obviously their dad (Peter Andre) wanted to use them in his reality show, but my choice was they were at an age where they were starting school and I wanted them to join school as them, as kids, not because everyone knows who they are.
"But obviously, it's out of my control. Pete did the show, which is fine, but now they are old enough to say if they do or don't want to do it. I've never pushed them, but they want to do it."
The show, which is set to air later in the year will feature ten-year-old Junior and eight-year-old princess in a six-part series. The pair will join six novice horse riders to take on the elitist world of pony clubs around the world, helping to improve various skills in each rider.
When one interviewer asked if she thought her kids were too young to be on TV she said "Oh My God, Junior and Princess, they've been doing it since they were in my belly. It's just normal to them."

A clearly excitable Junior then said "I'm sorry but no, I think I'm more interested in it that my mum. I love being on shows because I just like being on camera.
Just last month, Junior stole the show on a special episode of Loose Women. The ten-year-old asked his mum all kinds of controversial questions including why she and Pete got divorced.
