Is Justin Timberlake headlining the Super Bowl 2018?

Justin Timberlake is reportedly set to headline next year’s Super Bowl. The singer is said to be finalising his deal with the NFL to perform at the half time spot at the game.

Justin’s performed at the event before, who can forget THAT performance with Janet Jackson back in 2004.

Lady Gaga headlined this year’s events, jumping into the stadium from the rooftop. Which was the second most watched Super Bowl halftime show of all time. The most watched Super Bowl performance was Katy Perry and her left shark in 2016.

The news of Justin Timberlake’s performance comes after reports that Jay-Z turned down an offer to perform at the event.

Last year’s performer Lady Gaga recently cancelled the remaining dates of her European tour. A statement released by the singer’s team explained she was ‘under the care of expert medical professionals who recommended the postponement.’

Gaga later addressed the cancellation on Instagram, writing ‘I was taken to the hospital, it is not simply hip pain or wear and tear from the road, I am in severe pain. But am in good hands w/ the very best doctors. Please don't forget my love for you.’ sic

In another post, she said ‘I use the word "suffer" not for pity, or attention, and have been disappointed to see people online suggest that I'm being dramatic, making this up, or playing the victim to get out of touring. If you knew me, you would know this couldn't be further from the truth. I'm a fighter.

Yesterday, Gaga took to Instagram to thank fellow singer Beyonce for a number of gifts she had been sent while to continues to battle her health issue.
