Julie Walters has a very expensive wardrobe malfunction at the BAFTAs
Actress suffered mishap at ceremony
At the BAFTAs this weekend, Julie Walters has had a very expensive wardrobe malfunction after she admitted she lost an earring which was 'probably worth more than a house.'
She took to the stage to accept the Outstanding British Film award for her latest film Brooklyn and later admitted: “These earrings are borrowed and they are probably the same price as my house. And as I got up on stage I realised one of them was not there.
“Somebody’s found a bit of it but even that is probably worth more than my house, so I need to look around”.
Among the biggest winners of the night was The Revenant, which picked up five awards, and Mad Max: Fury Road which scooped four.
