Ever since YouTube star Joe Sugg was paired with professional dancer Dianne Buswell on the 2018 series of Strictly Come Dancing, viewers could see chemistry between the pair, with many wondering if they were in a relationship.

Despite the pair denying the claims on more than one occasion, when the show came to an end in December, Joe and Dianne delighted fans when they confirmed they were dating on Instagram.

Following some cosy nights away and a festive trip to Australia, fans were convinced the pair were ENGAGED after some eagle-eyed social media users spotted Dianne wearing a ring on her ring finger.

But don't panic! This isn't the quickest engagement in Strictly history, as Joe and Dianne have now broken their silence, laughing off the rumours.

Using his own YouTube page to address the reports, Joe was joined by Dianne where he said to her, "I’m so confused! I thought we were getting married."

Dianne then responded saying, "Yeah, no were not!" Adding, "I'd want a nicer ring than that anyway." 🤣🤣🤣

Rumours about a potential engagement between the pair started last weekend when Joe posted a cute selfie on Instagram. Joe shared a picture of him and his beau cuddling up together on the sofa, but eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot a ring on Dianne's finger.

Fans were quick to comment on the picture, with one saying: "IS IT JUST ME OR IS DIANNE WEARING A RING ON HER LEFT RING FINGER 😝😝😝😝😝😝"

Another fan asked Joe "Is that an engagement ring or a commitment ring?".

But now we know the truth! The pair seem very happy just dating at the moment! ❤️
