Jeff Brazier reveals the touching role his two sons will play in his wedding

Jeff Brazier has opened up about his upcoming wedding to Kate Dwyer, who he's set to marry in August. The 39-year-old TV presenter, who is dad to 15-year-old Bobby and 13-year-old Freddie, has been with Kate for around four years and popped the question last October.

But he has now revealed the major role that the two boys, whose mother is the late Jade Goody, will play on his big day.

Speaking to MailOnline, Jeff revealed that his sons would be best men at his summer nuptials, saying, "We’ve been through a lot together and to hear their speeches will be incredibly powerful for me, very poignant, a moment that will stay with me for the rest of my life."

Helen Flanagan and Scott Sinclair

Celtic FC footballer Scott Sinclair proposed to Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan in Disneyland, just weeks before the couple's second child was due to arrive.

As many will know, Bobby and Freddie's mum Jade passed away in 2009 after a short and well-publicised battle with cervical cancer at the age of just 27.

But Jeff confessed that his fiancée had absolutely stepped up to the plate in her role as step-mum, adding that she has had to make sacrifices in order to put the boys first.

He said, "Kate is incredible on many levels. Firstly she’s earned the title of step mum. They both call and refer to her as their step mum. Kids don’t give that away easily. There are lots of layers to why Kate is special for all of us."

Jeff and Jade dated from 2002 to 2004 before deciding to end their relationship, five years before Jade's death.
