Zayn Malik’s shock departure from One Direction was the biggest talking point yesterday, alongside the sacking of Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson.
Zayn has left One Direction to be “a normal 22-year-old”, whereas Clarkson has been sacked by the BBC for allegedly attacking a producer behind-the-scenes at Top Gear.
Although both stories appear to be completely unrelated, they did happen on the same day. Coincidence? The Internet thinks not.
According to some, Zayn’s unfortunate departure has left space for Jeremy Clarkson to fill the 1D void.
