Hollyoaks' Kieron Richardson welcomes twins with his husband
Congratulations!
Hollyoaks actor Kieron Richardson and his husband Carl Hyland have welcomed twins by a surrogate.
The proud dad announced the couple's happy news via his Instagram account, where he also revealed they'd welcomed both a boy and a girl called Chase and Phoebe Rae.
Sharing a cute snap of the babies' hospital bands, Kieron wrote, 'Welcome Chase and Phoebe Rae!', and confirmed they were born on May 22nd at 18.11 (Chase) and 18.22 (Phoebe).

The actor, who plays Ste Hay in the Channel 4 soap, delighted fans back in December 2016 when he shared the news he was set to become a father.
Sharing a video of his Christmas tree, Kieron zoomed in on a couple of very unique baubles which read, 'baby on board'.
The 31-year-old and his husband Carl then unwrapped a huge present that revealed a sign that says 'Twins coming in 2017'.

Kieron has previously opened up on IVF struggles. He said, "We were hoping to have a baby this year. Unfortunately, like anyone who is trying for a baby through IVF – whether they are gay couples or not – it is a lottery."
He went on to say, "We have tried it four times, with the same surrogate mum, and we have fallen into that 30 per cent bracket of it not working. Everyone is fit and healthy, yet it just not working."
