Ezra Miller screamed for joy when he got role in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
Actor is a dedicated Potterhead
Ezra Miller has revealed he literally screamed for joy when he found out he'd been cast in the Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
The American actor, who starred opposite Harry Potter alum Emma Watson in 2012's The Perks of Being a Wallflower, is a dedicated part of the Harry Potter fandom - dubbed affectionately as the Potterheads.
Ezra, 24, previously admitted that he feels like he's been a part of the Harry Potter universe since he was 11. Chatting to our Entertainment Team, the Justice League star said he screamed when he first found out he'd got the role of Credence Barebone in the Harry Potter spin-off.
Describing getting to meet his hero, JK Rowling, Ezra said it felt incredibly 'special'.
'I was very nervous, of course, meeting your hero; but what an incredible context to meet your hero in!', the star gushed.
'She was just incredibly sweet and generous and kind with me', he added.
But starring in a Harry Potter film comes with a lot of secrecy, which is something the die-hard Potter fan takes very seriously!
'I didn't go into that meeting as a spy for the world of fanboys. I'm one of her secret keepers, you know, i've got to take that role seriously'.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them** **is out in cinemas on November 18th.
