Birthday celebrations come in all shapes and sizes, and when it comes to celebrity birthdays, Bruno Mars knows where it's at. So, what better way to celebrate than with another pop star serenading you?

Well, that's exactly what happened, as Bruno Mars uploaded a short video of Ed Sheeran singing 'Happy Birthday' to him. As Ed sang and played his guitar, Bruno could be seen tucking into a plate full of a big birthday cake and cupcakes! Lucky guy!

Captioning the video, 'You know you’ve made it when you can hire Ed Sheeran to sing you Happy Birthday. 🍾🥂 #ExtraForever! #HappyBrunoMarsDay!', the post has received thousands of comments and nearly 1.5 million likes at the time of writing.

Many of the comments wished the 'Treasure' singer a Happy Birthday, with one fan saying, 'Happy birthday Bruno🎂🌠🌟' and another calling him a 'legend'. Others said, 'Happy Birthday @brunomars 🎂🎉🌟 Hope you have a wonderful day 🌞', and '👏👏👏😂😂😍😙'.

Whilst it's been nearly ten months since we've heard any new music from Bruno Mars - his last single being the collaboration with Cardi B, 'Finesse', Ed Sheeran has been pretty busy.
