David Guetta says he has considered getting his fingers insured on the advice of his lawyer.
According to DJmag.com the French DJ told a national newspaper "I actually looked into this because my lawyer said, ‘You have to insure your fingers.‘"
It's not uncommon for celebrities and professional sportspeople to insure parts of their bodies that their professions rely on, however David said he wasn't sure about this advice, "I said, ‘It sounds too crazy for me.’ I’m not judging anybody, but I didn’t do it," he explained.
The '2U' DJ has been spinning decks since the mid-80s, eventually moving onto a number of nightclubs in Paris in the 90s. It wasn't until the early 2000s that David began to make a name for himself in mainstream charts.
The now, highly successful DJ, had his first number one in the UK, 'When Love Takes Over' featuring Kelly Rowland in 2009, followed shortly by 'Sexy Chick' featuring Akon. Since then David has continued to have success in the charts across the world as well as touring and appearing at festivals.
Two months ago David teamed up with Canadian singer Justin Bieber on '2U' which quickly reached the top five in the UK. The video for '2U' features the Victoria's Secret Angels lipsyncing to Justin's vocals.
