Tracy Beaker's Dani Harmer welcomes second child 👶

She's revealed his lovely name and shared a cute photo

Dani Harmer, best known for her role as Tracy Beaker, has announced the lovely news that she's welcomed her second child into the world with her partner Simon Brough.

The actress took to Instagram this morning (Monday 14th February) to reveal she gave birth to a baby boy called Rowan Leon James Brough on 7th February at 10:49am. She also confirmed her son weighed 8lbs 3oz, sharing the cutest photo.

Emmerdale star Lisa Riley commented on the photo: 'CONGRATULATIONS BEAUTIFUL 💛💛💛so so so happy for you all…..sending the biggest of snuggles and cuddles 😘😘😘'. (sic)

A friend then wrote: 'so much love you already my little little pickle 😘❤️ best birthday present ever! xxxxxxx'. (sic)

Another added: 'Congratulations he’s adorable 🥰 💙', with another writing: 'Congratulations such a beautiful Valentine’s Day post ❤️'. (sic)

Ellie Goulding and Beau Minniear

Singer Ellie Goulding has revealed she is expecting her second child, her first with boyfriend Beau Minniear. The singer appeared on the red carpet at The Fashion Awards 2025 showing off her baby bump, wearing a cropped top.

Sienna Miller and Oli Green

At the same event as Ellie Goulding, actress Sienna Miller also announced her pregnancy, alongside her boyfriend Oli Green. Sienna is already a proud mum to her 13-year-old daughter Marlowe, whom she shares with her ex Tom Sturridge, and her 23-month-old daughter with Oli. The new arrival will be Sienna and Oli's second child together.

Sophie Kasaei and Jordan Brooks

TOWIE stars Sophie Kasaei and Jordan Brooks announced in December they are expecting their first child together! The couple have publicly documented their struggles to conceive, but announced the amazing news on social media that they are going to be parents. The pair revealed on the 2025 TOWIE Christmas special that their bundle of joy is due in mid-June 2026.

Ramona Agruma and Rebel Wilson

Ramona Agruma and Rebel Wilson announced in December that they are expecting their second child together! Ramona, who is carrying the couple's second child, shared the news on Instagram, writing: 'The happiest news in our family 🥰 it will be 4 of us soon! Dani first announced she was pregnant back in August last year.

Taking to Instagram to announce the exiting news at the time, the actress shared an adorable family photo of her with Simon and their first child, Avarie-Belle, who was holding an ultrasound image of her soon-to-be sister.

Dani added an adorable caption: 'Han solo had Chewie. Frodo had Sam. Shrek had Donkey. Now be prepared for the adventures of Avarie-Belle and as of yet unnamed bump, coming February 2022 💖💙xx' (sic)

Dani became a staple of most of our childhoods when she starred as the loud mouthed Tracy Beaker in CBBC's The Story of Tracy Beaker which ran from 2002 - 2005 and also included a TV film in 2004.

She's since returned to the iconic role multiple times for Tracy Beaker Returns (2010 - 2012), The Tracy Beaker Survival Files (2011 - 2012) and most recently My Mum Tracy Beaker which aired in 2021 and saw Tracy now a mother.

Outside of the world of Tracy Beaker, Dani appeared in a background role in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, in 2012 she appeared on Let's Dance for Comic Relief alongside Outnumbered's Tyger Drew-Honey and then went on to the tenth series of Strictly Come Dancing where she and Vincent Simone placed 4th. In 2013 Dani appeared as Janet in the UK tour of The Rocky Horror Show.

Dani branched out into the music industry in when she signed with Universal in 2008 and released her debut studio album Superheroes in September 2009. Dani also opened a performing arts school The Dani Harmer Academy in her hometown of Bracknell where she also works as a coach.
