Winston McKenzie has already caused controversy on Twitter - before he was due to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The former UKIP Spokesman apparently said on a video recording that he would 'just have to' cope if there was a homosexual in the house and he'd have his 'back against a brick wall all the time'.

It angered fans on Twitter with people accusing him of being homophobic.

However he replied to the backlash calling the comment 'tongue in cheek'.

The show began on the 5th January and has 16 contestants including Gemma Collins and Danniella Westbrook.
