Former Celebrity Big Brother star, Casey Batchelor, has confirmed she is engaged with a celebratory Instagram post showing herself surrounded by rose petals and sipping some bubbly.

The 34-year-old glamour model, revealed she is beyond thrilled after her boyfriend, Dane Goodson, got down on one knee.

The new mum posted on Instagram, 'So....... I’m ENGAGED, Yes I’ve had a few people ask me and the rumours are true!'

And it sounds like the engagement was a truly emotional moment.

'Back in January Dane asked me and I balled my bloody eyes out! I literally could not be happier,' she beamed.

She also said in the post, 'We didn’t announce the news straight away as we wanted to keep it between us for a while. But now the secrets out.'

Casey had managed to keep her happy news a secret - but finally let the world know how happy she is after weeks of hiding the ring on her finger.

She said in the comments how she had been papped with a ring on her finger just ahead of Valentine’s Day so felt it was the right time to announce the good news to her fans on social media.

Casey Batchelor and Dane have been together since early 2016 and welcomed a daughter named Florence together in May last year.

In an interview with OK! magazine, Casey said, "We really liked Florence from the beginning and we've stuck with it. Little Flo is what we call her. It was good that she was a girl because we couldn't think of any names for a boy."

Casey has had her fair share of unsuccessful relationships, the most well known being with former Celebrity Big Brother contestant Lee Ryan. He led on Casey and American model Jasmine Waltz during series 13 of the hit show.

He formed a love triangle with the two and both women kicked him to the curb once they realised they were being played.

Meanwhile, in other Big Brother news, Channel 5 bosses announced that the show won't continue due to viewing figures dropping. The show's host Emma Willis recently shared an image online that the BB house was being torn down,

The 42-year-old said, 'Sad times listening to this going on outside my dressing room this weekend... RIP BB house' sic.

Plenty of fans were quick to comment, sharing in the disbelief over this tragic news. One fan wrote 'Noooooooooooooooooooo 😢😢😢😢😢😢 how can this be happening xx' sic, with another writing, 'End of an era 😢' sic

BUT Rylan Clark-Neal shared a cryptic message on Instagram, hinting that the show may in fact continue. WHO KNOWS?!
