Last night Bruno Mars was in Glasgow when he was forced to stop his show temporarily due to one of his lights catching fire! In videos later uploaded to social media the moment the show was stopped and the fire extinguished can be seen.

After the show was stopped, the crew could be seen bringing the lighting rig down to extinguish the fire, as a message was displayed to the audience which said, 'This is a safety announcement. It is necessary to stop the show, temporarily. Further information to follow.' It's been reported that the fire started after a stray firework caught the light setting it on fire.

Other fans took to social media to share the moment the fire happened...

Luckily for fans it was only a temporary halt and after putting out the fire Bruno was back on stage singing. With the unexpected fire, Bruno even decided to sing about it, much to his fans' delight!

Speaking about the incident, a spokesman for DF Concerts said, “During the Bruno Mars show, there was an incident involving one of the stage lights meaning the show was stopped temporarily.

“Thanks to the quick thinking of our stage team who assessed the situation, this incident was quickly responded to, allowing the show to continue safely.”
