The Only Way Is Essex ended its current series with an explosive bang last night, with a scene which has been dubbed as the worst break-up ever on the show.

Over the last few weeks the popular reality show has played out the drama between Jake Hall and Chloe Lewis’ turbulent relationship and in last night’s series finale their relationship ended in a very awkward fashion.

Chloe has been convinced her fellow cast member, Megan McKenna, slept with her boyfriend, Jake Hall, behind her back and has been trying to get a confession from the pair since the rumours began to circulate.

However, in last night’s episode it seems Chloe had enough of their eight year on/off romance and finally ended things with Jake.

Jake laughed in Chloe’s face before admitting he had not been 100% faithful in their eight-year relationship. He said “In eight years I’m not saying I’ve been 100% faithful… like you haven’t.”

An angry Chloe responded saying “But I have, I can’t actually believe your saying this. You’re being a coward!”

She then broke down in tears saying “You’ve broken me” before adding “Everyone asks me why I’m shocked” seemingly admitting she has always trusted her boyfriend up until now.

In the awkward scene, Chloe then shouted “You’ve absolutely ruined my life, I’m gutted. I wanted to give you another chance. This is not what I want but I’m not being mugged off anymore”.

An emotional Chloe then brought the scene to an end, saying “I’m done!” and stormed away leaving Jake speechless, holding his head in his hands.

Despite the drama filled episode, some fans of the show believe Chloe has in fact been blaming the wrong Essex girl. She is convinced it was former CBB contestant, Megan McKenna, who slept with her boyfriend, but fans believe Megan is innocent and Chloe Meadows is to blame.
