It's been a good one!

Ant and Dec ended their series of Saturday Night Takeaway with a bang this weekend, broadcasting live from a cruise ship in Barcelona.

The popular show, now in its 13th series, has been at the heart of the UK’s Saturday nights over the last seven weeks, and now we take a look back at the highs and lows of the series.

Highs The first ever Takeaway wedding Happy couple, Sam and Michelle, made Saturday Night Takeaway history when they got married live on the show.

Ant and Dec conducted the ceremony with the couple’s close family and friends, after being made to believe they were going to Michelle’s surprise 30th birthday party.

Who shot Simon Cowell? The show's popular miniseries has been a huge talking point this year. Viewers finally found out the culprit on Saturday’s night episode. It turns out Pudsey the Dog was the murderer, with fans finding the revelation rather humorous.

Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancey's 'Get out of my ear' prank Footballer Peter Crouch and his wife Abbey Clancey took part in ‘Get out of my ear’ and the results were hilarious. Ant and Dec were in their ear as the pair tried to hire a party planner for their daughter's birthday party.

End of the show show – Mamma Mia and Motown In our opinion, the best ‘end of the show show’ in the series! Ant and Dec donned their best ABBA and Motown outfits to join the cast from the two popular musicals. The results were brilliant.

Lows Since series 13 began seven weeks ago, the show has been involved in several mishaps and received ample amounts of criticism for various parts of the show.

James Nesbitt disappears In the final episode of the series, guest announcer, James Nesbitt, seemed to disappear from shot after signal was lost between the cameras. After James was nowhere to be seen, Dec stood in and the show was forced to go to an unplanned ad break.

Viewers took to Twitter to mock the embarrassing mishap with some rather amusing speculation of James’ whereabouts.

Win the Ad's awkward moment With possibly one of the most embarrassing moments on live TV, one unfortunate member of the audience thought she had been chosen to take part in the popular ‘Win the Ad’s’ game.

After celebrating her victory live on TV, it turned out to be the lady behind who had actually won.

Cruise winner called a 'fraud' One contestant won a cruise after admitting she'd faked an injury to her boss to go on holiday. However fans took to Twitter to call her a 'fraud' which led to Andrea Murdoch hitting back at critics.

Strange Ofcom complaints Just recently the official Ofcom complaints for the series were released, with some of them being very odd to say the least.

One viewer was unhappy when Dec threatened to ‘smash’ Ant’s face in and there were two complaints that the programme showed people driving carelessly while holding a mobile phone.
