£100 can be so easy to raise, especially when you have a whole year to do it! Need some inspiration? Look no further! We have compiled a list of 10 easy ways to raise your £100, inspired by our 'faces' from 2017.
Host an afternoon tea
The perfect excuse to get together with your friends for a gossip and bite to eat. We loved this idea by face number 68 last year. Each friend took a turn to host, bake a couple of cakes and make a brew. After 5 get togethers the ladies doubled their target, raising £225!
Bag pack
Bag packing in your local supermarket is a great way to raise money and awareness! It involves very little preparation and can be done as a fun team activity. First of all you need to gain permission from the supermarket. We can provide you with letter headed paper with an explanation of Clyde Cash for Kids and our mission which you can then give out too your local supermarkets. Make sure you include some dates and address the letter to the store manager. On the day, assign your helpers to a till with a donation bucket, speak to customers, pack bags and ask for a small donation-easy!
Quiz Night
Who doesn't love the opportunity to show off their competitive side?! Argyle Consulting got their colleagues together to test who had the best general knowledge in the business. The evening was a great success and raised £250!
Swear Jar
Put your money where your mouth and fill up a swear jar for Cash for Kids! Set up in your office with your team or at home on your own. The concept is simple, put whatever money you have into the jar every time you utter a swear word.
Go vegan for a month
Try something new with your diet. It's the perfect opportunity change and improve your diet and learn some new recipes! Get your friends and family to sponsor you for the challenge. Face number 166 last year raised £311 after completing his vegan month.
Sell on E-bay
Give your house a clear-out and make money at the same time. Ebay have a dedicated option which allows you to decide exactly what percentage of the items final selling price you would like to give to charity making it a really easy way to fundraise!
Race Night
A charity race night is an exciting and fun way to raise money and can be organised on a budget. You simply need to purchase a DVD with the races on it to screen on a projector at your local village hall or even in your own home! You can raise money by charging an admission fee and showing off your bookie skills on the night.
Dress down day
Pay a couple of pounds each to ditch the work gear and dress down for the day. Collect a suggested donation for everyone who wears their comfy clothes and a forfeit donation for those who don’t!
Get active
Choose something to challenge yourself and get your friends and family to sponsor you. Last year we had people doing everything from marathons to walking large Munros.
Sell your skills
We had faces last year making and selling jewellery, doing extra engineering jobs for a donation, making and selling teddy bears, donating £5 from salon treatments....the list goes on!
