Haldane Youth Services

Haldane Youth Services is a grassroots voluntary community project working in Haldane and surrounding areas of West Dunbartonshire delivering 2 community projects. Hop, Skip & Jump targets children in P4 – P7 from the 2 local schools and Ur-Turn works with S1 – S6 pupils. Haldane is scored within the top 10% disadvantaged areas within Scotland according to SIMD figures.

Impact

Young people are able to experience respire from sometimes chaotic home lifes cause by poverty or other social issues

Children have a safe space to spend quality time with peers

Youth workers are able to support childrens mental health
