Crookston Community Group

Crookston Community Group is a food share and community group which was set up in Crookston to combat high levels of deprivation in the area.

The services CCG provide ensure local people in the community have access to free food whenever they need help. At present CCG help feed a staggering 500 families per week, highlighting the need in the area.

During the holidays, CCG put on activities and workshops for the children to promote healthy eating and encourage families to recycle food so it does not go to waste. Additionally, they take the children on trips to ensure they are making memories and have stories to tell upon return to school.

Cash for Kids have been delighted to visit the community group and see first hand the incredible work they do. During our visit we seen exactly just how much local families rely on and appreciate the service the CCG provide. Thanks to your donations and support, we have been delighted to support CCG!
