Woman who died in A737 crash named by police

The woman who died in a crash on the A737 near Howwood has been named by police as Lesley McTear from Dreghorn.
She was a passenger in a Mercedes A-Class car, when it collided with a MAN box van in the early hours of Monday morning.
Six horses were also released around the time incident at around 3.10am on Monday 23 September, with a number of reports being put to police.
Emergency services attended, but the 59 year old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Scotland shared a tribute on behalf of her family, which said: “Lesley was a loving wife, mother, grandma and daughter in law.
“As a family, we are deeply saddened by the events that have caused such a void in our family.
"Lesley was the glue that kept us all together"
“Lesley was the glue that kept us all together and anyone who was lucky enough to know Lesley was showered by her unconditional love.”
Sergeant Jack Swindells said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the woman who has died, and everyone involved.
“Our enquiries continue to establish the full circumstances and anyone who can assist with our investigation who has not already spoken to officers is asked to get in touch.”
