Hunt for man linked with attempted Kilwinning break-in

Police are hunting a man in connection with an attempted break-in at a home in Kilwinning.

Officers have released photos of the man after the house was targeted just after 10 am on Friday, August 16th.

The man was wearing a dark blue baseball cap, light and dark grey padded jacket, light grey jogging bottoms, light blue trainers.

He was seen carrying a red-handled long screwdriver when he visited the address on Baberton Way, Whitehirst Park.

Anyone who can help in identifying and tracing the male should report this to Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2226 of 20 August 2024.
