Detectives need to speak to anyone who saw a man enter a business in Hurlford at the weekend and threatened staff before stealing a three figure sum of money.

It happened around 9.55pm on Sunday at the premises on Blair Avenue.

He's described as between 20 and 30 years of age with dark hair and facial hair.

Anyone with information is being asked to come forward.

Detective Constable Debbie Johnstone said: “Thankfully no-one was injured as a result of this incident but staff were left understandably shaken.

“Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or a man matching this description in the area to contact us.

“I would also appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time to get in touch if they have any dash cam or private CCTV footage which could assist us.”
