An appeal has been launched to help trace a missing man from Irvine.

Mathew Strike, 32, was last seen at around 9 pm on Thursday, September 26th, in the Livingstone Terrace area of the town.

Police believe he may have travelled away from the area and say he has access to a white Ford Transit van, with the registration number MW64 PLU.

Mathew is described as being around 5ft 7in tall with brown hair.

It is not known what he is wearing.

Sergeant Kevin Blackley said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Mathew`s wellbeing and would ask if anyone has seen him, his vehicle, or has any information as to where he might be, to please contact us.”

Anyone who can help is asked to call officers via 101, quoting reference number 0851 of 26 September.
