Image of man released after Ayr assault
It happened in the early hours of Sunday morning
An image of a man has been released by police after an assault in Ayr on Sunday.
It happened on Smith Street around 1am.
The man officers want to speak to is white, around 5ft 10, bald and in his late 40's/early 50's.
He was wearing a black and white shirt and a blue jacket.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers believe the man shown in the image may have information which could assist them and would urge him, or any members of the public who recognise him, to contact police.
“Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 0432 of 17 November, 2024.
“Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be passed anonymously.”
