Hiker saved on Arran mountain after suspected stroke
The hillwalker was taken to hospital
A hillwalker was dramatically rescued on an Arran mountain yesterday following a suspected stroke.
The Arran Mountain Rescue Team rushed to Goatfell around 2 pm on Thursday after getting a call about the hiker in trouble.
Helicopter support was immediately requested with aid arriving 10 minutes later.
The casualty was treated and transported to hospital.
