'Significant' recovery of drugs seized during Irvine home raid

A ‘significant’ quantity of heroin, cocaine and cash have been found during a drug raid at a home in Irvine.
The Class A drugs were seized during a raid on Wednesday following a tip-off.
During the haul, a 20-year-old man was arrested and charged with being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
He appeared in court on Thursday.
Sgt Fraser from Police Scotland Ayrshire's Priority Policing Team said: “This is a very significant recovery and sends a clear message that we will not tolerate drug dealing in our communities.
“Our officers are determined to protect members of the public from this harmful criminality, and this underlines that commitment. We will continue to work with the public and partner agencies to tackle this issue and make our communities safer.
