Teenager fights for life after Ayrshire crash
Police are appealing for witnesses after the horror incident near Mauchline
A 19-year-old man is fighting for life after a crash in Ayrshire yesterday.
The crash happened on the B743 just south of Mauchline at about 6.45am and involved a blue Ford Focus car.
Police said the man suffered life-threatening injuries.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where his condition is described as critical.
Sergeant Chris McColm of Road Policing said: "Our inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are keen to speak to anyone who can assist.
"If you were in the area around the time of the crash please check your dashcam to see if you have captured anything that could assist with our investigation."
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0577 of Friday January 24.
