An escaped prisoner with links to Ayr has been re-arrested.

Martin Jackson escaped from HMP Castle Huntly in Dundee on Wednesday August 28.

The 33 year old will now appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Monday 2 September, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
