Ayrshire public warned not to approach absconded patient

People in Ayrshire are being advised not to approach a restricted patient who absconded on November 13.

Owen Bonner was on an escorted suspension of detention to attend a dentist appointment, it is not the first time he has absconded.

He is described as being 5ft 11ins, of slim build, with receding short grey hair, a pale complexion, and blue eyes.

Mr Bonner was last seen wearing a white Milano jumper, white baggy Milano jogging trousers, white Nike training shoes and a white woolly hat, but he may also have access to a green and white Celtic football top and a red gilet

Police are urging anyone with information to get in touch, saying: "We are keen to trace this patient as soon as possible.

"The public are advised not to approach this individual and if anyone sees them, or has any information regarding their whereabouts, they should contact Police Scotland quoting incident number 2056 of 13 November 2025 on 101."
