Rangers close in on deal for St Johnstone's Michael O'Halloran

Rangers and St Johnstone have agreed a fee for Michael O'Halloran to move to Ibrox, Clyde Sport understands.

The Glasgow club failed with two bids for the Saints wide man earlier this month but they are close to completing the signing of the 24-year-old after submitting an offer in the region of £500,000, which is subject to a number of clauses.

Rangers could present the former Bolton player to the media this afternoon after delaying their pre-match press conference for their Championship game against Raith Rovers for several hours to 4pm.
