Inverness boss Richie Foran questioned the training of referees after the 1-1 Ladbrokes Premiership draw with Hamilton.

The hosts were denied a penalty when Dan Seaborne handled Lonsana Doumbouya's effort on the line and Foran could not understand how referee Greg Aitken could not give the decision.

Larnell Cole's spectacular effort in the second half ensured they did not leave empty-handed, after Ali Crawford's first-half opener, but Foran hinted that perhaps the coaching of match officials needed to be looked at.

He pushes it with it hand and the referee is probably in the best position to see it,'' he said. How he doesn't give it, I don't know. He didn't think it was a handball and then didn't think it was deliberate. But it was blatant.

I don't want to say too much - it seems as though I'm complaining every week. But all us managers are the same. Maybe it's the coaching they're getting.

So I don't want to put too much pressure on them - maybe it's the training they're getting.''

He also paid tribute to goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams, who underwent several treatments on a back injury just to get himself out on the field and ease the club's goalkeeping crisis.

He's had acupuncture for 48 hours, physios up to his house, needles, injections, painkillers - all credit to him. He could have got a more serious injury being out there and we let him make that decision himself,'' said Foran.

There was no way he wasn't going to play and he put his body on the line for the team.''

Meanwhile, Hamilton boss Martin Canning felt his side should have taken all three points from the game.

We'll take a point at a difficult place and move on, but it's disappointing not to take three points,'' he said.

The game started pretty even and after we scored the second part of the first half they got on top a little bit and created a couple of opportunities.

They started the second half well and got their goal and from there I thought we were very good. We just didn't make that final pass or get that final shot on target.

But we gave everything to win the game.''
