Vigil for deaf woman Kirsty Aitchison beside the River Clyde
The mum-of-four's body was found in the river at the weekend after she disappeared following a night out in Glasgow
Friends and family of deaf woman Kirsty Aitchison are set to gather on the Broomielaw later close to where her body was found.
A vigil is being held in the mum-of-four's memory beside the River Clyde this evening.
Dozens of floral tributes have been pinned to the railings with heartfelt messages in tribute to the 30 year old.
Her disappearance in the early hours of Sunday 12th June after a night out at the Campus Bar sparked a major police investigation to try and find her.
Her body was found on Saturday the 18th June near the Kingston Bridge after police divers spent a number of day scouring the water near where she was last seen alive.
People attending the vigil are being asked to bring along a helium-filled balloon in pink, Kirsty's favourite colour.
At 8 o'clock Kirsty's family will let go of one balloon only, and then all her friends will let their balloons go into the sky.
Chief Inspector John McBride commented: "We would like to thank members of the public and the Deaf/BSL community for their support and assistance throughout this investigation.
"Our thoughts and condolences are with Kirsty's family and friends during this difficult time."
A crowdfunding page has so far raised more than £10,000.
