Sweet surprise for Trainspotting 2 stars on Highland bound train
Staff tipped off about Director Danny Boyle and Ewan McGregor being on board Scotrail service presented scones and tablet to them.
The Trainspotting 2 stars have been treated to some traditional Highland hospitality while on a train trip north.
Staff from the Rannoch Station Tearoom were tipped off that 40 actors and crew were on the service to Mallaig yesterday.
So, when the train stopped at Rannoch the ladies from the cafe boarded and handed out scones, cake and tablet and presented them to Director Danny Boyle, Ewen Bremner and Ewan McGregor.
Jenny will make many a lady envious after writing on the tearoom's Facebook page that she "got a peck on the cheek" from Hollywood star Ewan, who grew up in nearby Crieff in Perthshire, for her efforts.
Jenny and co-worker Ally both got a round of applause before "leaping off" to continue their tearoom duties.
It's understood the crew were heading to film at the next stop, Corrour, which famously featured in the original 1996 movie.
