Stirling woman fighting for life after fire

A 72-year-old woman is in a critical condition in hospital after being rescued from her burning home by neighbours.
The woman sustained burns and severe smoke inhalation in a fire at her home in Stirling.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said the woman was rescued from her flat in Robertson Place in the St Ninians area of the city.
She was treated by paramedics and taken by ambulance to Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert.
The fire service was alerted at 7.41pm and three fire engines were sent to the scene, two from Stirling and one from Bridge of Allan.
A total of 15 firefighters battled the blaze which was extinguished in just over half an hour.
A fire service spokeswoman said: "The 72-year-old female occupant was rescued by neighbours. She was suffering from burns and severe smoke inhalation. A fire investigation unit attended the scene, liaising with police.''
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said the woman is in a "critical condition''.
The fire service said the blaze is not thought to be suspicious and an investigation is standard procedure.
