Re-appeal over 'armed robbery' in Kelvindale

It's understood a man entered the shop on Dorchester Avenue at around 8.30pm last Thursday and threatened the two members of staff with what appeared to be a firearm.
He then made off in a small white van with a four-figure sum of cash.
No firearm was discharged and no one was injured however the two members of staff – a 24 year-old man and a 30 year-old woman were left badly shaken by the robbery.
The man responsible is described as around 6ft in height and of heavy build. He had a balaclava or scarf across his face. He was wearing a high vis jacket and gloves with a grey hooded top with dark jeans and white trainers. He was carrying a pink and white striped carrier bag.
Detective Sergeant Raymond Hunter said: “We are continuing our investigation to trace the man responsible and are studying CCTV footage and carrying out enquiries in the local area.
“I would appeal to anyone who saw a man matching this description around the time of the robbery to contact us, in particular I would like to speak to customers who visited the nearby shops and the ATM machine around 2030 hours, as they may have information that is vital to this investigation.
