Police are appealing for the public's help to trace a vulnerable woman missing for nearly 4 days. 32 year old Marion Cameron was last seen leaving Dykebar Hospital in Paisley, where she was a patient, on Monday at around 1230 hours. Marion is described as 4ft 11 inches in height, of slim build, with very long auburn hair.

Marion wears glasses but it is not known if she was wearing them when she left the hospital.

When last seen, she was wearing a green ‘Parka’ style jacket, denim jeans and a handbag with a rainbow coloured strap.

Police Constable Barry Gourley, of Paisley Police Office, is appealing directly to the local community for help in finding Marion.

He said: “Marion had been in hospital for a short time receiving treatment, and was last seen in the grounds of the hospital on Monday afternoon.

Her disappearance is very concerning, particularly since she relies on regular medication and we don’t believe she has this with her.

Understandably her family and friends are very upset at the news of her disappearance.

Marion is from the Paisley area and is known to frequent the areas of Paisley and Glasgow so I’d like to appeal to local people in those areas to contact us with any information.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.
