Mum with a baby spat at on a Glasgow train

Police say the incident was sparked when a pushchair got tipped over.

A woman, travelling with a baby, on a train in Glasgow Central was spat on by another woman. The unsavoury incident happened on the 14.02 service between Exibition Centre and Glasgow Central Low Level on at around 14.02 on Saturday, 12 March 2016.

Police say a row began after the baby’s pushchair was tipped over. As the woman left the train at Glasgow Central station she turned round and spat on 34 year old. Constable Collin Campbell, officer in charge of the enquiry, is asking anyone who was on the train and witnessed the incident or has information which can help identify the woman involved to contact British Transport Police.
