Motherwell Footballer Charged With Attacking Woman

A Motherwell football player has appeared in court charged with attacking a woman days before Christmas. Craig Reid, 28, is alleged to have assaulted the female to her injury on December 21, last year. The Motherwell defender was arrested earlier this month and appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on February 5. He made no plea or declaration when he appeared in private at the court, represented by Laura Anne Radcliffe. Reid, from the New Gorbals area of Glasgow was granted bail. He is expected to return to court at a later date.
