A mother and her two-year-old child have been left distressed after witnessing a man committing an indecent act in the street.
The incident happened at around 1.50pm on Saturday at a bus stop near a park in Glasgow.
The 29-year-old woman was standing with her toddler on Bisland Drive at the bus stop next to Ruchill Park when she saw the man exposing himself and performing a sex act.
She called police who are appealing for witnesses.
Detective Constable Katy Allan said: This was an upsetting experience for the woman. Fortunately no attempt was made to approach her and she is physically unharmed but distressed by this incident.
We have been conducting door to door enquiries and analysing available CCTV in order to trace the man in question. It is possible that other people travelling on a service bus on Bisland Drive may have also witnessed the incident.
This area is fairly popular with cyclists, dog walkers, pedestrians and passing motorists. I would ask anyone who was in the general area around 2pm on Saturday afternoon to get in touch if you have any information.''
The suspect is a white man, aged 25-35 years old, with a scruffy appearance. He is 5ft 7in to 5ft 9in tall with brown hair and was wearing a red hooded top and dark grey jogging bottoms.
